We (and our Discord) were watching with eager anticipation as the funds raised reached $300k! Thanks to all of you, we've raised enough funds to develop the East Portal Setting Guide which will feature additional lore, NPCs, Factions, and more to help you kick off your own expeditions. Read more about this stretch goal in Update #9.

Less Than A Week Left! $300k Stretch Goal?

We hear you all and appreciate your support in this Kickstarter campaign! Yesterday, we announced that the $250k stretch goal gave us enough funds to create a merch line for the WIW. Your feedback helped us realize that this wasn’t something directly related to gameplay, and that this great milestone deserved more celebration and thanks. So, while we are still very excited to bring this option to the backers who want to represent the game and Boylei Hobby Time in this way, we’ve decided to add more to this stretch goal.
As part of our shared mission with Boylei Hobby Time to encourage and inspire others to use their creativity, we’re going to expand the Terrain Tutorials section of the book as a greater thank you to everyone for reaching this $250k stretch goal! We think this is something that will add a lot to the future of this community. This section will grow to include several step-by-step crafting tutorials, professional photography, and knowledgeable commentary from Boylei Hobby Time. You’ll have greater access to his processes, beyond what his videos provide. This will be a lot of work for Boylei Hobby Time, so our project timeline may need to be slightly extended. We will keep you updated.
There’s less than a week now until the campaign ends. We need your help to reach the $300k stretch goal, which we are very excited to announce:
The Official East Portal Setting Guide
The story in our first Campaign Booklet (included in the core Kickstarter rewards) will guide your posse to a town called East Portal, the central location in the Wild Imaginary West. Located deep in the Rockies, East Portal became a hub for people seeking fame and fortune. We’re excited to provide additional lore and special role-playing opportunities for this town in the official East Portal Setting Guide. This guide will be a great starting point for you to build your own stories as your expeditions in the WIW continue. The guide will be included as a printed booklet and digital PDF, meaning all backers will benefit from this reward!

This is Still the Beginning
We're fitting as much as we can into the budget of this project to make it as amazing as we all want it to be! That being said, there's even more to come in future years. All of your suggestions and ideas have been noted and we're optimistic that many of those will come to fruition. The Wild Imaginary West RPG will continue to receive more miniatures, more expeditions, and more lore in the years to come.

We've been paying attention to your comments and messages. The hype for the Wild Imaginary West RPG has been incredible! And we're excited to reveal what we've been preparing for the $250k stretch goal.
With the additional funds you've helped us to raise, we're bringing you:

These are a few mockups to illustrate what we're working on, but there will be new designs and options available later!
With the new funds, we need some time to get the designs and artwork made/adapted for each product, then time to order and review samples to ensure quality. These will be available for purchase on RuneFoundry.com in a couple months.
